I don't like the 48 hr system as I work so end up going for long periods with problems I can't see a gp for and frequently have to hit a crisis. It's not to bad if the gp can book your appointment for you if the 'calendar is Up for the relative time gap. I have had to stop booking my b12 jab as having that on my online system acyually stops me from booking online either. Surely the online system should allow appointments for all depts i.e. Gp appointments, diabetic appointments b12 injections etc . This would help the likes of the working people to be able to get appointments around their work, at the moment if I have one appt in the system you then have to ring in to get an appointment for the gp

Totally hopeless trying to get an appointment if you go to work. Far too oversubscribed for the amount of doctors working. Seriously thinking of going somewhere else after 40 years in same practice. Such a shame.

Appointments are difficult to get and especially hard to see the same doctor. You have to be at the clinic 8.30am to queue for a same day appointment. Which is hard when you have a job to go to. You can call and book a 48 hr routine appointment but are on hold for a while and often all appointments are gone within the first hour. And as I say you can't see a regular doctor, so in my case I have to explain my whole issue from start every time. Doctors even ask me to book with them again but it's difficult. I have had some really nice genuinely caring doctors. Even locum doctors I'd be happy to see again. The clinic is pristine but posters have not changed for years, they are good but I end up reading the same thing on the wall while waiting. Nurses have always been pleasant and focused. Being able to call for same day or next day appointments again would be hugely helpful. I have the online booking system (e-life) but it crashes at 8am.
